KML-PIP, allows to find all points inside and outside of a polygon in GOOGLE EARTH, it solves the computational geometry problem: Point in Polygon (Read more)

In order to find the points inside or outside, you only need to upload a *.kml file and this application will do the rest for you, that file must have a set of points and the reference polygon, if your *kml file has more than one polygon, the application will take the first one it finds as the reference polygon.

  • The maximum file size for upload is 500 kB (0.5MB)

The application will create a folder with the reference polygon and two folders with the points that are inside and outside the reference polygon. Look at the next figure to have an idea. Here you have an *.kml file as example to use.
